Conduct Safety and Health Investigations
This unit describes a participant's skills and knowledge required to conduct safety and health investigations in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.
RIICOM301D provides one of the three competencies required for the successful completion of the "Supervisor's Course" - known as G1, G8, G9 (formerly S1, S2, S3.)
Target Audience:
This unit is appropriate for supervisors and those in technical, specialist roles.

  • Identify courses of action
  • Prepare and present investigation reports
Course Duration
This course requires 1 day of training on its own, or 3 days, when combined with RIICOM301D and RIIRIS301D to complete the Supervisor's course - G1, G8, G9.
