Aptitude Training and Safety (APTAS) has been delivering quality training to Cairns, the Cape and beyond for over 20 years. We specialise across the first aid / safety / fire spectrum, and can offer you a range of nationally accredited and tailored courses - or a blend of the two. We're passionate about passing on knowledge, and making sure people are confident to respond in whatever situation they find themselves.
Our first aid courses range from basic CPR and Life Support through to Occupational First Aid. You will be taught by medics, paramedics, trained professionals who have been there and done that. We believe in providing you with the full time and experience you need in the classroom to ensure that if an emergency strikes, you have the confidence to step up and respond - it may be your colleagues, family or friends depending on you.
Our premier first aid course - FATRAT - has been developed and refined over 6 years, to resource you with the knowledge to provide casualty care when professional responders might be hours away. Once you have completed the traning, you will be confident to use a much broader array of equipment to help you sustain life in adverse conditions.
We also offer fire safety, and a range of work safety courses....including introductory courses to asbestos, risk management and WHS regulations in the construction industry - perfect for small businesses needing to get a handle on what they are required to have in place
