SPILL RESPONSE
Respond to Spills in the Workplace
This course provides participants with the knowledge to identify and respond safely to minor spills in the workplace, using the correct equipment and procedures.
Target Audience:
Anyone working in environments such as factories, workshops, laboratories, storage facilities or external yards where spills may occur.
Course Contents:
- Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Chemical hazards
- Managing small chemical spills
- Restocking spill kits
- Hazardous substances in the workplace
- Incident reporting
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Course Duration
This course comprises about 3 hours of training, including practical emergency scenarios.

Recommended Recertification:
It is recommended that those who complete this traing, renew their knowledge every 12 months, or as operationally required.
