This unit describes a participant's skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined spaces in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.

Target Audience:
This unit is appropriate for those working in confined spaces (enclosed or partially enclosed) for the purpose of carrying out work or inspections and also is appropriate for those performing sentry or stand-by person roles, at worksites within: - Civil construction - Coal mining - Drilling - Extractive industries - Metalliferous mining - General construction

- Work in a confined space
- Prepare to exit a confined space
- Clean up
Course Duration
This course requires 1 day of training, including practical emergency scenarios and classroom assessment.

Recommended Recertification:
It is recommended that those trained in RIIWHS202D renew their qualification every 12 months.
