Respond to Workplace Emergencies
This unit covers the competency required to recognise emergencies in the workplace, to report emergencies and to take appropriate action.
IN AN EMERGENCY, EVERY MINUTE COUNTS. DON'T PANIC. BE PREPARED.
Target Audience:
This training is suitable for everyone. Companies and organisations require their staff to be trained for fire emergencies, and this course will provide participants with the skills to initiate basic fire fighting in the workplace.
Course Contents:
  • Classification & fire type
  • Identify fire protection equipment
  • Use a variety of portable fire fighting equipment
  • OHS obligations
  • RACE System
  • Fire protection systems
Course Duration:
The CPR course requires about 4 hours training and classroom assessment.

Recommended Recertification:
