FATRAT
First Aid Trauma Remote Area Training
Our premier trauma response course - developed in house and encompassing all the knowledge you need to deliver a first aid response in a challenging environment when help isn't just a few minutes away. We have been delivering and refining this course for over 6 years now, and have reports from participants of lives they have saved and injuries they have treated as a result.
IN AN EMERGENCY, EVERY MINUTE COUNTS. DON'T PANIC. BE PREPARED.
Target Audience:
This course has been developed and refined over the last 6 years or so, and is aimed at people operating in high risk industries such as law enforcement, personal protection, marine environments, construction, mining, agriculture, adventure or tour guides. These positions are often in remote and isolated areas where a signigicant degree of self sufficiency in the event of emergency is required. In situations where you may have to stabilise and care for the casualty for hours rather than minutes until professional responders will be on the scene, these operatives need higher than ususual first aid and trauma response skills, without necessarily requiring paramedic qualifications.
